May 12, 2008 This week, CrimeStoppers and U of I Police investigators are seeking information regarding five vending machine burglaries which have occurred in various buildings on the U of I campus. Sometime between Monday, March 31st, and Sunday, May 4th, five vending machines were broken into, with currency being removed. In most cases, the bill holders on the machines were damaged. There are no suspects at this time. University of Illinois Police investigators are requesting any information you may have concerning these crimes. The information you provide is confidential. You do not have to give your name or appear in court. CrimeStoppers will pay a reward if the information you provide leads to an arrest for this crime.
