Gary Spear is the Crime Analyst for the Champaign Police Department. Gary manages the CrimeStoppers tip phone line, taking tips from and providing follow-up to callers. He maintains the CrimeStopper tip files and works closely with the CrimeStoppers Board determining allocation of rewards. Gary also sets up times and locations for reward payments for fruitful information. Carol Cushing is the Office Worker II assigned to the Crime Analysis Unit of the Champaign Police Department. She manages the CrimeStoppers tip phone line when Gary Spear is not available. She collects and distributes the overnight tips for entry into the CrimeStoppers database. Carol compiled and maintains the list of Success Stories currently on the website. Mary Mullen is the Secretary to the Chief of Police at the Champaign Police Department. Mary assists Troy Daniels with website management and serves as back up for Jan Orr. Jan Orr is an Office Worker II assigned to the Investigation Division of the Champaign Police Department. Jan enters tips, case dispositions and rewards into the CrimeStoppers database. She also produces and distributes the "Crime of the Week" bulletin to the news media and the CrimeStoppers website. Troy Daniels is a Deputy Chief at the Champaign Police Department and a non-voting CrimeStoppers Board member. He coordinates the day-to-day functions of CrimeStoppers and acts as liaison with police agencies in Champaign County. Deputy Chief Daniels is responsible for preparing and submitting monthly reports to the Board of Directors and quarterly reports with the Illinois State CrimeStoppers Association. John Gnagey was the first Champaign County CrimeStoppers Law Enforcement Coordinator and was instrumental in establishing Champaign County CrimeStoppers.
